Belrey Fibres SA is a family owned textile recycling company with state-of-the-art machinery and is based in Mouscron, Belgium. Our recycled fibres in polypropylene, polyester and nylon serve a wide variety of end uses such as nonwovens for various industries : automotive, geotextiles, drainage, isolation, compounding and yarn spinning. Another recovery route is regranulation and compounding, which transforms thermoplastic textile waste into granules to manufacture plastic parts. As a cost-effective and “greener” alternative to virgin materials, recycled synthetic fibres serve as secondary material for nonwovens. Through our customized blending and processing equipment we are able to produce clean and homogenous fibres. As we are one of the leading global companies in our area, we have access to fibres worldwide. By working together with our suppliers, we help them to divert textile material from landfill and to save costs for waste disposal. In 1974, Paul Joachim Prause founded the company Schichtstofftechnik Prause, which was renamed the P. J. Prause Durotec GmbH in 1998. P. J. Prause had previously, as part of 3M Germany, significantly contributed to shaping the technical application of synthetic leaf springs in Germany with Scotchply™ glass-fibre composites. This enabled Prause Durotec GmbH to acquire more than 35 years of experience in the manufacture and application of leaf springs made from fibre composites. Prause Durotec is a medium-sized company with 16 members of staff and a global customer base. The range of products we manufacture includes all configurations of flat leaf springs with E-glass, S-glass, carbon fibres, with epoxy resin providing the matrix. The procedures used to process the UD prepregs (UD = unidirectional) comply with aeronautical and military standards.

J.H. Ziegler is your specialist partner for needle fleece materials, foam-fleece composites, non-woven materials with a multilayer structure and laminated materials with a number of different areas of application: As highly efficient acoustic absorbers in automotive interiors and exteriors; as laminating material for leather lamination or material for understitching of vehicle seats and chairs; for acoustic and thermal insulation in buildings and properties; and various other applications that include composites and abrasive discs. Currently, our manufacturing team consists of 390 employees divided across Germany, Hungary and China. In addition to synthetic fibres such as PET and PP, technical fibres such as glass and oxidised polyacrylonitrile are used. Depending on requirements, Ziegler fleeces can be water-repellent (hydrophobic), oil-repellent (oleophobic), flame-retardant and/or have insulating properties. They can be laminated with foam, leather, fabric, spun-bonded fleece, film or a number of other materials. We are certified in accordance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OEKO TEX Standard 100.
