In 1852, Wilhelm Lüsebrink, the village blacksmith, first produced eyebolts with wood thread in the German district of Öckinghausen, Halver – a product that is still one of the most important in our range today. J.D. Neuhaus GmbH & Co. KG, which employs more than 200 staff across the Group, produces pneumatic and hydraulic hoists and crane systems at its Witten site in Germany. Due to this unique specialism, J.D. Neuhaus is not only the benchmark for quality in the field, the company is also the global market leader and supplies customers in over 90 countries. The products are characterised by the fact that they reliably move loads of up to 115 t, are durable even in extreme conditions of use and are explosion-proof. They do so, for example, in oil and gas extraction at Arctic temperatures of -45 °C, underwater during ship repairs, in mining, in the chemical industry, in heavy plant construction and in many areas of logistics. Production takes place exclusively at the Witten site. The broad range of products is supplemented by services such as the assembly, inspection, maintenance and general overhaul of the systems as well as training courses for customers.

AS-Schweißtechnik GmbH is a family-run company with 15 employees. Ever since 1980, we have been producing stud welding units, accessories, stud welding machinery and welding studs from our 900 m² site. 1980: Company established by Hans-Joachim Arnhold. 1980-1990: Developing new equipment technology and expanding business areas. 1990: Construction of the current main building for administration, equipment production and stud storage. 1998: Expansion of the new building to include storage and production facility for special equipment. 2000: Into the second generation as Martin Arnhold joins the company. 2008: Introduction of the ISO 9001 quality standard. December 2013: Company founder Hans-Joachim Arnhold hands the company over to his son, Martin, and begins his well earned retirement. We operate in more than 50 countries around the world.
